ISAG

ISAG LOGO (1).png

The Inter-Sectoral Analysis Group (ISAG) is a collaborative think tank composed of a diverse group of Canadian and international multi-sectoral experts. Our advisors bring extensive experience working in Canadian, Canadian-Latin American, North American, and Caribbean contexts, as well as with Indigenous and Afro-descendant cultures. This diversity in ethnic and professional backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives enriches public debate, deepens analysis, and enhances knowledge exchange, all aimed at identifying innovative solutions to complex global challenges.

The group produces analytical reports, articles, and commentaries by leveraging tools such as the Multi-Sectoral Analysis Framework (MUSA). These outputs are shaped through collaborative dialogue and the inclusion of expert voices across various disciplines and sectors. ISAG’s work will be featured and disseminated through the online publication, Healthy Region. ISAG’s role also includes promoting knowledge transfer and mobilization through a variety of publications, such as articles, commentaries, infographics, posters, abstracts, presentations, podcasts, and videos. We aim to identify best practices and the latest academic and policy research applicable in diverse contexts across Canada and other countries within the Americas region.

ISAG envisions becoming a leading civil society reference group, recognized as an expert in analyzing multi-sectoral common challenges and comparative experiences between Canada and other countries in the Americas. The group aspires to be a go-to resource for consultation by the Government of Canada, the Inter-American system, and multilateral agencies in the Americas and Caribbean region.
